How can I check the electrodes and electrode cables myself?

Connect the electrodes and electrode cables to the device so that a short circuit occurs in each case. If the device switches to short-circuit mode, everything is working properly.

Testing the electrodes

  • Fill a basin with about 1 liter of water.
  • Place both electrodes on top of each other in the water.
  • Connect the electrodes to the control unit, which should be turned on.
  • If the control unit enters short-circuit mode (it displays a warning triangle and beeps continuously), the electrodes are working properly.
  • Rotate the electrodes in the basin to check all sides.

Checking the electrode cables

  • Take a white cable and plug it into sockets E1 and E2 on the powered-on control unit.
  • If the control unit enters short-circuit mode (warning triangle and continuous beeping), the cable is in good condition.
  • Test both cables individually in this manner.
