How can I check the electrodes and electrode cables myself?
Connect the electrodes and electrode cables to the device so that a short circuit occurs in each case. If the device switches to short-circuit mode, everything is working properly.
Testing the electrodes
Fill a basin with about 1 liter of water.
Place both electrodes on top of each other in the water.
Connect the electrodes to the control unit, which should be turned on.
If the control unit enters short-circuit mode (it displays a warning triangle and beeps continuously), the electrodes are working properly.
Rotate the electrodes in the basin to check all sides.
Checking the electrode cables
Take a white cable and plug it into sockets E1 and E2 on the powered-on control unit.
If the control unit enters short-circuit mode (warning triangle and continuous beeping), the cable is in good condition.
