The Saalio device can also be operated off-grid using a battery or a power bank, provided certain voltage and connection specifications are met; however, this is done at your own risk and the manufacturer accepts no liability in this regard.
The Saalio device can generally also be operated independently of the mains supply – i.e. using a battery or a power bank – provided that the following conditions are met:
Voltage: 24 V direct current (DC)
Connector: Type C, dimensions 5.5 × 2.5 × 9.5 mm, centre pin positive
No simultaneous connection to the mains – the battery/power bank must not be charged whilst the device is in operation.
Important:
Medical devices such as the Saalio device have higher safety requirements compared to standard household appliances. Standard batteries or power banks do not meet these requirements.
Therefore, it must be ensured that when operating via a battery/power bank, no mains voltage is applied to it at the same time.
Using the Saalio device on battery power is always at your own risk. The manufacturer accepts no liability for uses that deviate from the intended purpose.
