In AUTO mode, the device is set to automatically switch polarity during the session. Nerve cells or muscle fibres may react sensitively to this, meaning that some users find this phase uncomfortable.
Solution:
Instead of Auto mode, select manual polarity change: Setting: E1 << E2 or E1 >> E2. The polarity should then be changed from session to session so that both extremities are treated equally.
