Yes, the fingertips can also be treated along with the palms. The treatment is carried out in two stages – similar to the sides of the hands – (see ‘Can the sides of the hands and feet also be treated?’).
In the second phase, the procedure differs slightly:
Raise the water level so that the fingertips are well covered by the water. At the same time, lift the metacarpus and carpal bones slightly out of the water so that only the fingers and thumb remain fully submerged. As the area being treated is now smaller, it may be advisable to reduce the current slightly.
Also ensure that the electrode cable always points towards the fingers. This orientation supports a targeted effect on the fingertips – particularly in the second phase of treatment.
Please note: The two-stage treatment of the fingertips requires some practice. It may take a few attempts before you achieve a consistent and effective treatment across all affected areas.
