Why are pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers and certain age groups excluded?

Pregnant and breastfeeding women, as well as young children, are excluded from treatment due to a lack of studies and practical limitations.

Pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers and young children are considered particularly vulnerable patient groups. As there are insufficient clinical studies available for them, they must not be treated with this method as a precaution.

In the case of young children under the age of 6, there is the additional factor that, even under supervision, they often find it difficult to follow the treatment instructions for a period of around 15 minutes. Furthermore, their limbs are still too small to allow the treatment to be carried out reliably and safely.
