Following a successful initial phase, it should be possible to continue reducing sweating with significantly fewer treatments. If this does not work, it is usually because the individual treatment is not yet effective enough. So, before you reduce the frequency of the treatments, the quality of each individual session should be improved.
Pay particular attention to the following:
- Water level: Ensure that the water level is correct for the treatment.
- Current strength: Select a strength at which the current causes a slight tingling sensation.
- Treatment duration: At least 15 minutes per session.
- Type of current: Where possible, always use direct current.
When switching from the initial to the maintenance phase, normally only the frequency of treatments is reduced. All other settings, such as current strength, duration and type of current, remain the same.
