How much electricity do I actually need?

Set the current to a level that feels comfortable, increase it only gradually according to how it feels, and, to ensure the therapy is successful, focus on regular use rather than maximum current settings.

Set the current during the very first treatment so that you can feel it clearly, but it is still comfortable and is perceived only as a slight tingling sensation. A higher current strength offers no additional benefit if it becomes uncomfortable.

Please note that the appropriate current strength differs from person to person and may also vary depending on the area of the body.

During therapy, the skin often becomes accustomed to the current. You can then gradually increase the current strength – but only as far as it feels comfortable and tolerable.

Too high a current only causes problems: it can be uncomfortable, irritate the skin or even cause damage. In such cases, the treatment often has to be interrupted and restarted later.

Many users focus too much on achieving the highest possible current levels. However, just as important as the correct current level is the regular and consistent use of the therapy.
